This is regarding the bomb that went off in my head. the radiation spreads and spreads. The memories seeping through the walls. try and lock the door, try and run, away from it all. When I sleep eternally, my life becomes a word, my life becomes a sound. How could you say that? How could you say that? How could you say that? How could you say that?
2.
The only difference between the living and the dead: The living have all of these thoughts inside their heads. But I envy them, 'cause I am not the same. The thoughts are shot while their running through my brain. I've got a love hate relationship with my mind. I try to care more, for those I leave behind. I'd like to say, that I don't care, that I don't mind, that I'm alright. The man is gone and she puts the kids to bed. Lights go out and darkness fills my head. Dreams come back of what once was. Looking out the window, I am dreaming of my best friend that's getting put down. If I don't get up then just let me drown. I'd like to say, that I don't care, that I don't mind, that I'm alright. I'm alright. I'm alright. My perception projects itself onto you, like a movie screen that I'm living through. I don't feel old yet but I know one thing's true. When I grow up I don't wanna be you! So I won't say that I don't care, that I don't mind, or that I'm alright.

Water Vision 04:18
And as the snow falls through the cracks in your floor, I joke about the silence that we've never heard before. Through the cracks I can see through your heart, and the silence that is carries it came from the start. Beneath the ground is where they'll hide (I don't know you, but you don't too) Coming out and letting them inside But underneath your house they're tunneling, tunneling down. Nothing left but a frame a moving breathing frame of a man. (Ambience)
4.
I hide behind my walls of sand. They're not strong but they block out the light. I'm never gonna be a perfect man. I'll let you down with my anxiety and fright. I can't be what you want me to be and I don't have what you need. What's the secret to your perfect world? I'd like to know can you tell? How do you make it look so easy, while I'm in a living hell? I don't know what you want from me but I don't have what you need. The journey to the stars will never happen if I'm afraid to jump. Stuck inside a vessel of abandon. Afraid of change, afraid of any more!

Euphoria 06:05
Teeth like hot coals my eyes deceive my soul God spoke to me so gently, "Son you're not alone. I'll show you for a small fee." But the world was not enough for you, you wanted more. So you reached into the pockets of a man, on a bed, that a dead man lived in until you told him he could not afford euphoria. You frighten me by showing me these things like the end of the world and places I'd never want to be, and say, "Trust in me or die." How could I, when all you do is frighten me? You scare the Hell out of me. You scare the Death out of me. (ASCENSION) [interview with minister] Minister: Religion is always in the control business, and so they created this fiery place which has, quite literally, scared the hell out of a lot of people. Interviewer: But wait a minute, you're saying that Hell; the idea of a place under the earth or somewhere where you're tormented for an eternity is actually an invention of the church??? M: Oh yes. The church doesn't like for people to grow up. The people don't need to be born again, they need to grow up. They need to accept their responsibilities for themselves in the world. Up in the light there is a blindness that will consume your soul. Down below the embers burn the dead will suffer because he said so. [interview] Interviewer: What do you make of the theology these days in America which is that there is one guaranteed way not to go to hell, and that is to accept jesus as your personal savior. Minister: Every church I know claims that we are the true church. That they have some ultimate authority; we have the infallible pope, we have the inherit bible. The idea that the truth of God can be bound in any human system, by any human creed, by any human book, is almost beyond imagination for me. But the world was not enough for you, you wanted more. So you reached into the pockets of a man, on a bed, that a dead man lived in until you told him he could not afford euphoria. But that was not enough for you, you need control. So you cut down nonbelievers and their mothers and their sisters! The children run until you told them they were not alone. You hold their hand. And they say, "I'll come with you till it's me up on that bed. I will wait until I'm dead to know that lies are all you said."
7.
I got four walls around my head and I got my dog she's in my bed and my friends are gone I'm leavin' them tomorrow. I got my pencil with no eraser the posters on my walls are paper thin. Again, I look at them and these things are tellin' me, That it's a fucking party! Look out ahead I think I lost my head tonight. When you told me I took you too literally. Look at the stains inside my brain failed attempts for fame flow through my veins. Yeah my life's a fucking party! My head is filled with false revisions. I see through you with tunnel vision, and you're so scared you'd never even go there. But if you let me inside your feelings then I will give your life meaning and you won't feel alone even when you're alone. Not even when you're alone. Not even when you're alone. Not even when you're alone. No not even when you're alone. You're alone. You're alone. You're alone!

Emmanouel 04:43
Emmanouel. You're lookin' so good. You must be doing well. Emmanouel. Every night you come home to the perfect wife. You'll never die alone. No you'll never die alone. But the guilt will build. How do you manage that many lives? I see right through the smokey room and into your eyes! Oh Emmanouel, oh Emmanouel how do you do it? Born ahead of your time, you never look behind. You tell your friends that you've changed for the better and they have all stayed the same. Yeah they have all stayed the same. Every year you come home to a mother that loves you. You'll never die alone. No you'll never die alone. But the guilt has built, and you can't manage this anymore. You run away to a safer place to be alone. Oh Emmanouel, oh Emmanouel how can you do it. Look around, Look around at the people, the people. Look around, Look around at the people, the people are watching you!
9.
Dead mentally. All words fail. A glimpse of sleep is far from me. I can't see you with the clouds inside my brain. Dead night watchers feel my pain. But the wind will speak to me, with the arms of the trees as prayer. A bad sound follows me. Sleep is out of reach. But the wind will speak to me, with the arms of the trees as prayer. A bad sound follows me. Sleep is out of reach.

about

This album has been an outlet of my own self expression and has brought me closer to peace and clarity in situations that I didn't understand before. The words are important and it was my goal to make them somewhat intimate towards me. View each song as a piece of me and my emotions. The name of the album is a reference to the psychological world we live in and how thoughts and beliefs fueled by emotion are the most powerful things in the universe. I am talking about how individuals appear to each other in a way that "they-themselves" have invented. Nobody is ever going to know someone fully. They will only know the parts of that person that are shown to them.

Anyways, I've spent just under a year putting this album together and if it brings you even a fraction of the satisfaction, happiness, or sadness that it has brought me then I consider it to be a success.

Disclaimer about "Euphoria":
I don't think I know better than anyone when it comes to religion and spirituality. This song is a symbol for commercialism, blindness, and scare-tactics that I believe is used in some religions. I don't agree with these things in any situation. However, I do accept that everyone has the right to believe what they want as long as they are not hurting someone, or themselves, physically or emotionally. I apologize in advance if you feel offended but I hope that as a society someday we can come together without a fear of what God may be as well as without a fear of death.
